TopographyFast Fourier Transform to demonstrate spectral activity in single Hertz mapping of EEG Strength.
This graphic demonstrates theTopometric representations, from the brainmap of the QEEG, in signal strength, frequency and location on the head. The dots represent the standard 10-20 EEG locations. The nose is at the top of the graphic display and the view is looking down on the top of the head. The color corresponds to the color band below each head, representing variation from the mean in absolute power range factors. These frequency and signal strength graphics help in deciding how to approach an individual's problem, in neurotherapy training. Note the larger red area, which is significant at 5 Hz. This Theta frequency is midline, predominantly in frontal and central areas. This pattern may be seen in inattentive ADD. (This graphic is from Dr. Robert Thatcher's NEUROGUIDE analyses) |
